Data House Calls are a self-service way to leverage our staff’s expertise to help you get where you want to go with your data science skills.
Learning Communities are events designed to catalyze community and conversations around shared workflows and interests in biomedical data science topics.
Self-Service Tools and Documentation
We make our open source resources for tooling to support Workflows Integrating Large Data and Software (WILDS), available for our clinical and research communities at Fred Hutch through our GitHub organization.
The Fred Hutch Cancer Center’s Biomedical Data Science Wiki is a curated knowledgebase for biomedical data science and research computing best practices, how-to’s and other documentation.
Communication
Find our current events, peer to peer support, and other data oriented resources in the Fred Hutch Data Slack workspace which is open to anyone in the Fred Hutch Cancer Consortium.
Monday Morning Data Science is our weekly newsletter with updates from the Lab, announcements about events happening at Fred Hutch and beyond, and data science related content our staff contribute!
Multi-Format Training
We are proud to partner with Openscapes to bring the Openscapes Champions Cohort Program to Fred Hutch. Openscapes Champions is a mentorship program for biomedical data staff centered around collaborative coding and open science.
We maintain a list of both self-service training materials and training sessions hosted at Fred Hutch.
